I am a nature witch. I do not dress entirely in black or wear an inverted cross around my neck, but you may occasionally see me wearing a pentagram as a sign of my belief in nature and its powers. I find joy in the forest. There I discover my inner peace, cast spells, gather strength, and use it for the benefit of those close to me—as well as against my enemies, should they deserve it.
I am not Wiccan, nor am I anything else in particular. I am simply an adult man who follows shamanic traditions, has an ordinary life and a family, and feels that he sees the world a little more broadly than most people do. That does not, however, make me any better than anyone else.
I received the calling to become what I am at birth. Neither my family nor my partner encouraged me towards it. My path found me in rainy weather beneath the light of the moon, as snowflakes quietly settled upon the earth and the sun rose beyond the horizon, whispering the night away from the sky.
I am the very embodiment of scientific and sceptical level-headedness, yet I believe in energies and magic. The inner conflict between science and witchcraft continues its daily struggle within me, until I remember to look out towards nature and find peace once more. That is where my home is. I have seen many things that no science can explain and experienced things that words are not enough to describe.
I do not wish to judge anyone because of their beliefs. I can no longer afford to. Everyone has a god of their own somewhere.
